Once the Blue's season has concluded, workers will bring out the hard hats once again and shut down the arena for the summer. This year's work will focus primarily on the upper bowl areas which will include new (black) seats as well as new and improved concourses. Along with these upgrades, the entire front of Scottrade Center will now be converted from one very all atrium to 3 floors of new gathering space. Here are some renderings of the improvements.
